A harmonious landscape of tiered geological textures and organic pillars.
The Terracotta Layered Table is a study in material contrast. It brings the silent grandeur of the canyon into the domestic space, featuring a principal organic-shaped slab in a rare, earth-toned red stone. This primary tier is intersected by a secondary, elevated "floating" island of high-contrast white marble, creating a multi-dimensional topography that functions as both a service surface and a sculptural installation.
Grounded by massive, natural-grained wooden cylinders, this table balances the weight of ancient stone with the warmth of the living forest. The soft, rounded edges of both tiers eliminate rigid lines, evoking the feeling of river-worn boulders. It is a piece designed for slow living—a gathering point that feels as permanent and grounding as the earth itself.
The table employs a sophisticated cantilevered stacking system, allowing the two distinct stone types to overlap without visible hardware, creating a seamless, floating transition between the red and white marble layers.
By pairing cool-to-the-touch natural stone with oversized solid oak pillars, the design achieves a "thermal balance," ensuring the furniture feels inviting and cozy rather than purely monumental.
Each stone slab is hand-sculpted into a non-linear "puddle" shape. The edges are finished with a soft-radius bevel, enhancing the tactile quality and reinforcing the biomorphic design language.
