Every detail of the Kyoto is an homage to honest materiality. On the right, a solid, grounded slab features a seamlessly integrated single drawer, providing a clean, quiet solution for essentials. The juxtaposition of this solid volume with the airy, rhythmic slats on the left creates an asymmetrical beauty that feels deeply rooted yet effortlessly light. It is more than a workspace; it is a structural landscape that invites a slower, more deliberate ritual of thought and creation.
The signature lattice leg is composed of individually precision-cut solid timber slats, hand-assembled to ensure perfect vertical alignment. This structural screen provides high lateral stability while maintaining a visual transparency that allows the floor space to breathe.
The desktop seamlessly transitions into the right-hand support through an expert waterfall mitered joint. This allows the walnut grain to flow continuously over the edge, emphasizing the desk's clean, architectural silhouette and its monolithic integrity.
