Canyon Trace Media Console
A monolithic wood carving of fluid grain and architectural depth.
The Landscape of the Slab
The Canyon Trace Console is a tribute to the "Continuous Surface" philosophy. Unlike traditional furniture that feels assembled from parts, this piece is designed to look like a single, massive timber beam that has been hollowed out by the elements. The "Trough-top" creates a deep, protected basin for art objects, while the horizontal grain flows uninterrupted across the massive trio of doors, emphasizing the furniture's monumental scale and natural origins.
This is the ultimate anchor for the modern media suite. By blending the organic warmth of deep walnut with the sharp, industrial precision of chrome-plated Y-legs, the console achieves a "Suspended Gravity" effect. The low-profile silhouette and integrated handle-less facade make it the perfect companion for oversized art or large-screen displays, bringing a sense of quiet, structured grandeur to any contemporary living space.
Built to Last
"U-Channel" Monolithic Top-Sculpting
The top surface features a deep-profile "U-Channel" recess, where the side gables rise seamlessly above the service area. This architectural detail provides a safe, framed enclosure for high-end ceramics and media devices.
Sequential Grain-Matching Across Facade
The cabinet doors are cut from a single sequential log of premium walnut. This ensures that the prominent "Cathedral" grain patterns flow perfectly from left to right, preserving the illusion of a solid timber monolith.
"Y-Kinetic" Structural Base
The console is elevated on bespoke, cast-metal Y-legs. These sharp, angled supports create a dramatic contrast with the heavy wooden body, providing a weightless appearance while ensuring high-torque stability.
